The motion was made by Jones seconded byWilmot,that the minutes of the previousmeetingofFebruary25thbedispensedwith.Motion carried. Bills were read.The motion by West,seconded by Krueger,that the bills be paidandwarrantsdrawn.Motion carried. COMMITTEEREFORT ON PURDYLEASE:by councilman West.The committeegå recommendationwasnottoleasethemanymoreground.The motion by Holmes seconded by Krueger,that the Council accept the committee's recommendation.Motion carried. -f¶¶March 11,1998 Contts REPORT FROMTHE NATURALGAS DEPARTMERT:by Ed Snook.Mr.Snook reported on the progress being made,and said the Natural Gas will be in the system soon.He presented a proposed rate schedule for the purpose of simplification for the bill- ing of Natural Gas.The motion by Holmes,seconded by Wilmot for the reading of Ordinance on gas rates #361.Motion carried.Final reading on Ordinance #361 will be held at the next meeting March 25th 1998. BERT PIERCE REPORTEDON CITY INSURANCESPECIFICATIONS:The motion by Wilmot seconded by Krueger that the report be referred to the Insurance Committee.Eotion carried. A letter was read on the Fire Insurance coverage rate.Report by Herman Ohland. The motion by Jones seconded by West that Mr.Rector be authorized to sign the Insurance police.Motion carried. REVIEWOF THE PLANSFOR THE AIRPORT:and Park rest rooms by Chet Waggener.The otion by Jones seconded by West that the Council allow local bids for informal bids to be called next Friday March lkth,1996.Motion carried.
