The council met in regular session,the meeting was called to order by Mayor Burress,Councilmen present were:Fradt Holmes,Alex Law,Fred Krueger,Merle West,Dave JonesOrvilleWilmot,and incoming Mayor Elect Henry Boyle also attendeËthe meeting.
The minutes of the previous meeting of March 11th,were read,stand approved as read.The minutes of the meeting of Feb 29th meeting were read,stand approved as read.
Bills were read.The motion by Jones seconded by Law bills be paid and warrantsdrawn.Motion carried.

RAY PRICE:appeared before the con cil in regards to deliquent water bill at
Ammandsents reasturant.The motion byWilmot seconded by West,matter be referred
back to committee and city attorney for settlement and report back to council.
Motion carried with Bolmes and Jones voting agáinst,
GAS METER:The motion by Jones seconded by Holmes,that we adoptithe Standard for the
Gas Meter installations as presented and that they be added to our bàilding code.

AR FOR GAS DEPT:Request for another car for the Gas Dept preferably station wagon.
The motion by Krueger seconded byVilmot committee be authorized to call for bids
for extra car for the gas dept.Motion carried,with Holmes not voting.
DRAINAGEAT SIGMAN'S:explained by city engineer chet Waggener.The motion by Jones
seconded byWilmot to authorise the Mayor to draw up a resolution to request a
hearing with the State Hi-way dept at the next commission meeting.Motion carried.
VACATIONOF PORTION OF VALLEYROADCURVEAROUNDVISTA CORNER:The motion by Holmes s
seconded by Law to instruct City Attorney to draw up papers vacating that portion
as specified by the City Engineer.Motion carried.
KAYORBURRESS:appointed Ralph Kenison to Board of Adjustment to fullfill B.J.
McLeants term.
POLL BOOKSAND ABSENTEE'S BALLOTS CANVASSEN:The motion by Law seconded by West
council certify polfbooks and absentee ballots on special election.Motion carried
with all present voting aye.
