RESOLUITON #173:ON MOSQUITO00NTROL DISTRICT:was read.Mr.Eino Kinnunen gavecomments,stated that there were 700 signatures on petition Block LO in favor of it,would like to get a levy on a 1 mill bàsis to be put to vote at the Nov hth election.The motion by Law seconded by Hilderbrand to adopt Resolution #173.Motion carried. ALDER STREET CKUSEDDEINSPECTION•Letter from Don Gray of Gray&Osborne was read in regards to closing design of causeway and cost if any on re-design.Engibeer stated that circumstances may arise which will need the help of Gray&Osborne on,beign theydrewtheorginialplansforthebridge.The motion by West seconded by Law on the basis of engineers report-that KryS3rays service be accepted.Holmes No.Motion carried. LETTER FROMGAS MANAGERMR.ED SNOOK:regards to a re-trencher for putting in gas lines was read.Discussion.The motion by Law seconded by Stark matter go to bids and awards committee and specification similar to those indicated by the Gas Dept be put out for bid.Holmes against.Motion carried. LETTER FROMTHE CITY-ENGINEER:recommending acceptance of utilities for maintenance and release of the bond on Marginia No.h Plat was read.The motion by West seconded by Holmes engineers recommendation be accepted.Motion carried. MAYORSTATED THAT COUNCIL HAS ALREKD BAD TO MEETINGS ON THE BUDGET:and another meetigg set for 7:30 Monday Sept 29th. RESERVOIRIS Mr.Don Grays requested a bill to present to his insurance co,council instructed city attorney to write letter to Gray &Osborne,also to do the same about the sewage treatment plant.
