Board met in regular session on this the above date with
the following members present:Eric Peterson ,Mayor,Councilman
Ralph Davis,W.E.Bunnell,John Hochstatter,Fred Nolan and
C.E.Laing Treasurer.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Under the head of new business,Mr.Peterson brought Mr.
Washington before the council regarding his services as cityApporney.Mr.Washington stated that his services would be #50.0fromdateuntilthetat.of May,1939 and from then it would be$10.00 per month.After done consideration by the council ,it was moved and passedthathisservicesbesecuredandheactasabovestated.
Ordinance No.A presented by Ralph Davis :An Ordinanceprovidingfortheappointmentofonetownmarshal,One town ClerkOnetownattorney,One Health Officer,One Civil Engineer,OnePoliceJud6e,One Board of Park Commissioners,One Supt.OfPublicWorksandprovidingforthefixingoftheirdutiesandcompensation.
Moved and passed that rules be suspended and the aboveordinanceItwasreadsecondandthirdtimesandpassedandbecameeffectiveonthisabovedate.
Ordinance No.5,presented by John Hochstatter:AnCrdinanceProvidingforcompensationtocertaindesignated city oofficialeformilagetravelwhileconductingofficialbusiness.Moved and passed that rules br suspended and the above ordinanceno.5 be read second and third times.It was read second andthirdtimeandpassedandbecameeffectiveonthistheabovedate.
Ordinance No 6 presented by W.E Bunnell:An ordinanceprovidingforthelicensingandimpoundingofdogsandcats.This ordinance was read first time and passed until thenextmeeting.
