1939.09.26_00001Council Proceedings Moses Lake,Wn.9-26-39 The Board met in regular session on this the above date and upon the roll being called,the following members were found to be present: Eric Peterson,Mayor,Councilman Ralph Davis,Carl urress Fred Nolen and John Hochstatter,W.E.Bunnell Clerk Mr.Wickwire,Town Attorney. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Mr.Lees,who lives just outside the city limits appeared before the board and compl ined that considerable dissatisfaction was being reg- istered with him to the effect that many persons were being endangered in the earless way in which cars and asked that the city remedy same. Mr.Leland also appeared before the board and stated that he was interested in selling to the city the lots and beuiding whichbelongstoWm.Zigler and stated that same could be procured by payingdown$lEOO in cash.The matter was laid over until the next meeting.O Mr.Watson,an engineer from the Coulee Dam appeared before theco-neil with a proposition to survey the blocks and lots of the townforaconsideration.The matter was left to the street committee withinstructionstomeetwiththeabovenamedgentlemanandcontácttheownersandgettheirideasonthepropositin.The committee consistedofDavis,Hochstatter and Burress. Clerk was intructed the bank at Ellensburg for further informa-tion on the water bonds.Which has been done. Clerk was instructed to write the Auto Co.at Ellensburg andsendthemavouchertosignforthepremiumsontheambulanceamountingÅ 57.60.Which has been done. Clerk was instructed to send a bill to Mr.Lentz,whose daugh-ter met her death some time ago while wriding a Motercycle throughthecountry,and for which the city furnished the ambulance to takehertoEllensburg.Which has been done. The following bills were read and approved by the financecommitteandwarrantswereordereddrawnforsame.
