A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT
RECITALS:
1.North American Foreign Trade Zone Industries, LLC has requested the City of Moses Lake
to abandon the easement described as follows:
A portion of the North Gateway Center Binding Site Plan, Auditor's File #1228198, Book 2
of Binding Site Plans, Pages 16 - 20, Records of Grant County, Washington, a portion of
the northwest quarter of Section 4, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant
County, Washington:
Beginning at the intersection of Doolittle Drive and Patton Boulevard; thence North
70°06'22" East, following the centerline of Doolittle Drive, 553.64 feet, to an intersection
with the centerline of Doolitttle Drive and the projection of the easterly boundary of Lot 2 of
the ASPI Commence Park Major Plat as recorded in Book 19 of Plats, at Page 25, under
Auditor's File Number 1050013, Records of Grant County, Washington; thence North
27°12'01" West, following said plat boundary and its projection, 40.33 feet, to the true point
of beginning; thence continuing North 27°12'01" West, following said plat boundary, 238.20
feet, to a point that bears South 27°12'01" East, 5.04 feet, from the northeast corner of said
Lot 2; thence North 70°06'55" East, 10.08 feet; thence South 27°12'01" East, parallel with
and 10.00 feet perpendicularly distant from said plat boundary, 283.20 feet, to a point 10.00
feet perpendicularly distant from the northerly right-of-way boundary of said Doolittle Drive;
thence South 70°06'55" West, following a line 10.00 feet perpendicularly distant from said
northerly right-of-way boundary, 10.08 feet, to the true point of beginning.
2.Potential users of the easement have been notified of the proposed abandonment and one
comment was received from the Grant County PUD.
RESOLVED:
1. The City Council of the City of Moses Lake does resolve that the easement as shown on
the North Gateway Center Binding Site Plan and described above will be abandoned and
that the City Manager is authorized to execute the necessary documents in order to
accomplish that abandonment.
