RESOLUTION NO. 3090 •A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE FROM THE MOSES
LAKE SCHOOL DISTRICT 161
Recitals:
1.Resolution No. 238 provides all grants of real estate, or any interest therein, to the City of Moses Lake, shall
not be accepted until a resolution has been duly passed by the City Council.
2.The Moses Lake School District 161 has presented an easement to the City of Moses Lake.
Resolved:
1. An easement for municipal purposes for the following described property is hereby accepted by the City of
Moses Lake:
The Granter, Moses Lake School District 161, hereby grants an easement for all municipal purposes and uses,
to the City of Moses Lake, a municipal corporation, upon the following described property:
A portion of Tract 46 of Battery Orchard Tracts, as recorded in Acreage Plat Book 1, Page 31, records of Grant
County, located in a portion of Section 33, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, Willamette Meridian, County
of Grant, State of Washington, more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the northwest corner of said Tract 46;
Thence South 81°0056" East along the North line of said Tract, a distance of 10.00 feet to east right-of-way
of Lakeshore Drive, being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence continuing along the North line of said Tract South 81°00'56" East, a distance of 559.73 feet;
Thence along a non-tangent curve to the right having a radius of 41.00 feet, through a central angle of
161°37'55" (the long chord of which bears South 74°1025" West a distance of 80.95 feet) with a radial line
in of South 83°21'28" West and a radial line out of South 64°59'23" West for an arc length of 115.66 feet;
Thence along a reverse curve to the left with a radius of 9.00 feet, through a central angle of 56°00'19" (the
long chord of which bears North 53°00'47" West a distance of 8.45 feet), for an arc length of 8.80 feet;
Thence North 81°00'56" West parallel with and 30.00 feet south of the North line of said Tract, a distance of
478.56 feet to the east line of Lakeshore Drive;
Thence North 08°31'47" East a distance of 30.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING: approximately 17,947.07 square feet or 0.412 acres of land, more or less.
