A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FROM PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO.
2 OF GRANT COUNTY
RECITALS:
1.Resolution #238 provides that all grants of real estate,or any interest therein,to the City of
Moses Lake,shall not be accepted until a resolution has been duly passed by the City Council.
2.Public Utility District No.2 of Grant County has presented an easement to the City of Moses
Lake.
RESOLVED:
1.The easement for the following described property is hereby accepted by the City of Moses
Lake:
A tract of land in the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 27,Township 19 North,Range 28,
East,Willamette Meridian,Grant County,Washington,described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 27;thence South 00°10'30"West,
along the east line of said Section 27,a distance of 1,300.02 feet;thence;North
89°51'05"West,30.00 feet to the southeast corner of the Pelican Horn Substation as
found on record of survey filed in Book 44,Page 13 of surveys,records of said Grant
County;thence North 89°51'05"West,along the south boundary of said Pelican Horn
Substation,226.46 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence continuing North 89°51f05"West,on the south boundary of said Pelican Horn
Substation,13.45 feet to the east right-of-way of Bailey Avenue;thence North 00°10'30"
East,along the east right-of-way of said Bailey Avenue,37.31 feet to a point of cusp with
a 120.00 foot radius curve concave to the east,a line to the center of said curve bears
South 89°49l30"East;thence southerly along the arc of said curve to the left through a
central angle of 14°22'15",a distance of 30.10 feet,to the beginning of a 10.00 foot
radius compound curve concave to the northeast;thence along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 75O39'21",a distance of 13.20 feet to the true point of
beginning on the south boundary of the Pelican Horn Substation.Said tract of land
contains 84 square feet of land,more or less;and
