A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO GRANT AN EASEMENT
TO PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO.2 OF GRANT COUNTY
Recitals:
1.Public Utility District No.2 of Grant County has requested an easement.
2.Easement requested is to construct,reconstruct,operate,patrol,maintain and remove
overhead and/or underground electrical distribution lines in order to assist in the
continued improvement of electrical,telecommunication and other services at the
Well #31 site,parcel #11-0345-001.
Resolved:
The City Council of the City of Moses Lake does resolve that the City Manager be authorized to
execute and easement in the following described property to Public Utility District No.2 of Grant
County.
1.A utility easement of utility purposes and uses,to Public Utility District No.2 of Grant
County,State of Washington is hereby granted to Public Utility District No.2 upon (he
following described property:
A PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER,OF SECTION 29,TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH,
RANGE 28 EAST,WILLAMETTE MERIDIAN.DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE ESTABLISHED MONUMENT AT THE INTERSECTION OF DAVY
STREET AND MONTANA STREET AS RECORDED IN THE RECORDS OF GRANT
COUNTY ON PLAT FIRST ADDITION TO WESTLAKE TRACTS;THENCE NORTH
89°53'18"WEST A DISTANCE OF 30 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE CONTINUING ON THIS SAME LINE OF THE CENTER LINE OF DAVY STREET
NORTH 89*53'18"WEST A DISTANCE OF 345 FEET:THENCE NORTH (T16'42"EAST A
DISTANCE OF 232.5 FEET;THENCE SOUTH 89°53'18"EAST A DISTANCE OF 345 FEET;
THENCE SOUTH 0°06'42"WEST A DISTANCE OF 232.5 FEET TO THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
THE EASEMENT AREA and right of way hereby granted covers a 10 foot strip of land.
lying over,under and across the above described land,the exact location of which is 5
feet on each side of a centerline which is currently staked on Grantor's property.
