A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT FOR PROPERTY
OWNED BY THE CITY AND PROPERTY OWNED BY THE ESTATE OF RALPH B.
AND LOIS E.KENISON
RECITALS:
1.Resolution 238 provides all grants ofreal estate, or any interest herein, to the City ofMoses
Lake, shall not be accepted and granted until a resolution has been duly passed by the City
Council.
2. The City owns the parcel where Cascade Park is located. The adjoining property is owned
by the Estate ofRalph B. and Lois E.Kenison
3. The boundary line adjustment will move the property line to correspond to actual usage.
4. It is advantageous for the Cityand the Estate ofRalph B. and Lois E. Kenison to adjust the
common property line.
5. Exchanging quit claim deeds and filing a boundary line adjustment survey are required to
adjust the property line.
6. The two properties that are being exchangedhave similarvalues.
RESOLVED:
1.TheCity ofMoses Lake,Washington,declares thatitis advantageous fortheCity to adjust
the common property line by exchanging quit claim deeds and filing a boundary line
adjustment survey.
2.The quit claim deed from the Estate of Ralph B.and Lois E.Kenison tothe City for the
following described property is accepted:
