A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENTS
RECITALS:
1.Moses Lake Travel Plaza,LLC has requested the City of Moses Lake to abandon the
easements described as follows:
Revised Easement of Parcels 4 and 5 of the Commercial Binding Site Plan for Composite
Moses Lake Travel Plaza,within Section 36,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,
Moses Lake,Grant County,Washington.
Original Easement Location Following the Original Boundary:An easement for public
utilities,gas and cable television as delineated on a Grant County,Washington,Record of
Survey for a Commercial Binding Site Plan for Composite Moses Lake Travel Plaza Major
Plat according to the plat thereof recorded under Auditor's File Number 1202542 records
of said County described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the east line of Parcel 5 of the above described Binding Site
Plan,South 00°20'12"West 173.73 feet from the northeast corner thereof;Thence along
said east line lying 10.00 feet on either side of said east line South 00°20'12"West 82.84
feet to the point of terminus of said easement.
New Easement Location Following the Revised Boundary:An easement for public utilities,
gas and cable television to revise that easement as shown on a Grant County,Washington,
Record of Survey for a Commercial Binding Site Plan for Composite Moses Lake Travel
Plaza Major Plat according to the plat thereof recorded under Auditor's File Number
1202542 records of said County described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the east line of Parcel 5 of the above described Binding Site
Plan,South 00°20'12"West 173.73 feet from the northeast corner thereof;Thence along
said east line lying 10.00 feet on either side of the following described line South 00°20'12"
West 13.42 feet;Thence South 89°38'48"East 22.30 feet;Thence South 00°20'12"West
54.41 feet;Thence North 89°38'48"West 22.30 feet;Thence South 00°20'12"West 15.01
feet to the point of terminus of said described line.
2.Potential users of the easement have been notified of the proposed abandonment and no
comments were received.
RESOLVED:
1.The City Council of the City of Moses Lake does resolve that the easements described
above will be abandoned and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the necessary
documents in order to accomplish that abandonment.
