A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF MOSESLAKE2003 COMPREHENSIVE PLANAMENDMENT
RECITALS:
1.The City of Moses Lake's'Comprehensive Plan was adopted on September 11,2001 in accordancewiththeGrowthManagementActandtheStateEnvironmentalPolicyAct.
2.The Comprehensive Plan includes thefive (5)mandatoryelements required by GMA.
3.The Washington State Growth Management Act requires the city to establish procedures andscheduleswherebyupdates,proposed amendments,or revision of theComprehensive Plan maybeconsidered.
4.The amendments totheComprehensive Plan has been submitted tothe State of Washington OfficeofCommunityDevelopmentforreviewandcommentasrequiredbyGMA.
5.The amendments to the Cityof Moses Lake's Comprehensive Plan have been reviewed by thePlanningCommission.
RESOLVED:
1.The requests by National Frozen Food,Russell Fode,and the Department of Natural Resources toincludepropertyinthecity's UGA is approved.
2.The request to re-designate Lots 1-3 and thewesterly half of Lot 4 from Low Density Residential toHighDensityResidentialisdenied.
3.The request to include the extension of Yonezawa Boulevard from Highway17 to Road L NE isapproved.
Adopted by theCity Council on November 12,2002.
