A RESOLUTION INITIATING THE PROCEDURE FOR VACATING RIGHT-OF-WAY
DEDICATED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CENTRAL DRIVE AND RIGHT-OF-
WAY ON LEE STREET
RECITALS:
1.There exists right-of-way dedicated for the development of Central Drive which will notbe improved
as a city street and right-of-way on Lee Street which is not necessary for the city's right-of-way
requirements.
k^2.RCW 35.79 provides that a public street may be vacated upon resolution initiated and passed by the
legislative authority of the jurisdiction wherethe streetis situated andthatsuch resolution shall fix a
time when the petition will be heardand determinedand which shall not be more than sixty days nor
less than twenty days after the passage of such resolution.
RESOLVED:
1. The petition for the vacation of the following described public right-of-way shall be accepted:
Central Drive:Vacation of a portion of Central Drive lying in the Big Bend Binding Site Plan Plat,
located in the northeast 1/4 of Section 15,Township 19 North,Range 28 East W.M; Grant County,
Washington described as follows:
Commencing at the centerof Section 15,Township 19 North,Range28 East W.M;which point is at
the intersection of Valley Road and Vista Drive,thence along the east/west centerline of Section 15
and the centerline of Valley Road, South 89051'56"East,1128.91 feet to the intersection of Valley
Road and Central Drive;thence along the centerline of Central Drive, North 26°48'50"East,770.74
feet to a brass cap monument stamped #16701 as shown on the Big Bend Center Binding Site Plan
Plat,revised 2-21-91, Book 14 of Plats, Page 6,Auditor's File Number 910618001, Records of Grant
County,Washington;thence continuing along saidcenterline,North 00°14'55"East,618.02 feettothe

2. A public hearing before the Planning Commission shall be set for February 27,1997;the first reading
ofa vacation ordinance shall be set for March 11,1997;anda second reading ofa vacation ordinance
shall be set for March 25,1997.
