A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PERPETUAL MUNICIPAL
EASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES
Recitals:
1.Resolution No. 238 provides that all grants of real estate, or any interest therein, to the
City of Moses Lake, shall not be accepteduntil a resolution has been duly passed by the
City Council.
2. Moses Lake School District #161 has presented an easement to the City of Moses Lake.
Resolved:
1.A utility easement for municipal purposes for the following described property is hereby
accepted by the City of Moses Lake:
A 30.00 foot wide easement in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 28,Township 19 North,
Range 28 East,W.M.:Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington described as follows:
Commencing at a monument marking the intersection of Russell Avenue and Texas Street
as shown on the Larson Playfield Plat, filed in Book 18,Page 45, records of Grant
County, Washington (A.F.N.1025859); thence North 32°07'57"East, 265.92 feet to
a monument marking the intersection of Texas Street and Tulare Avenue (vacated);
thence North 45°33'27M West,30.71 feet along the center line of Tulare Avenue to the
westerly right-of-way ofTexas Street and the point ofbeginning;thence North 45°33'27"
West,440.79 feet along the centerline ofTulare Avenue;thence North 00o22'35"East
41.75 feet;thence South 45°33'27"East,463.28 feet to the westerly right-of-way ofTexasStreet;thence South 32°07'57"West,30.71 feet along said right-of-way to the
point or beginning.J
Containing 13,562 square feet,more or less.
