A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO GRANT AN EASEMENT TO
CASCADE VALLEY WATER DISTRICT
Recitals:
1.Cascade Valley Water District has requested an easement.
2. The easement requested is to connect to the 12-inchwater main along Valley Road to construct a
150,000 gallon steel waterreservoir in the westparking lot ofthe Grant County Fair grounds.
CascadeWaterDistrictrequestcontinuationofthe watermaineasementfromthe ValleyRoad
v-y right-of-way,East alongthe North boundary ofthe Cityproperty to the Grant CountyFair
parking lot.
Resolved:
TheCityCouncilof the Cityof MosesLakedoesresolvethattheCityManagerbe authorizedto execute
an easement for the followingdescribedproperty to CascadeValley Water District.
1.Aneasementforutilitypurposesandusesisherebygrantedto CascadeValleyWaterDistrictof
Grant County, State ofWashington upon the following described property:
A twenty-foot(20.00')wide easementdescribedas thatportionof the Southeastquarterof the
Northwestquarterof Section 16,Township 19 North,Range28 East,W.M., County ofGrant,
State ofWashington,described as follows:
Commencing at the southeastcomer oftheNortheastquarter ofthe Northwestquarter ofsaid
Section16,saidpointbearsSouth00°26'35"West,coincidentwiththeeastboundarylineof the
Northeast quarterof the Northwest quarterofsaidSection 16,a distanceof 1344.20 feet from a
UnitedStatesBureau ofReclamationbrass capmonumentfoundmarkingtheNortheast comer of
