A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
FROM ELLIOT THORNTON
Recitals:
1.Resolution No. 238 provides that all grants ofreal estate, or any interest therein, to the
K^J Cityof Moses Lake,shall notbe accepted until a resolution hasbeendulypassed bythe
City Council.
2.Elliot G.Thornton has presented an easement to the City ofMoses Lake.
Resolved:
1.An easement for municipal purposes for the following described property is hereby
accepted by the City ofMoses Lake:
A parcel of land in the Northeast 1/4 ofthe Northwest 1/4 ofsection 26,Township 19 North,
Range 28 East, W.M., City ofMoses Lake, Grant County,Washington,described as follows:
Commencing at the North 1/4 corner ofsection 26,Township 19 North,Range 28 East, W.M.,
ThenceNorth 89°55'10"West, 677.92 feet, along the north line ofsaid Section 26, which is also
the centeriine ofa city street known as Nelson Road; thence South 00°20'03"West, 30.00 feet to
the southerlyright-of-wayline ofNelson Road, and the true point ofbeginning, which point is
North 89°55'10"West, 30.00 feet, from the northwest corner ofLot 2,Hopkins Short Plat, per
Grant County Auditor records, Volume 5, pages 38 and 39 ofPlats; thence continuing South
00°20'03"West,10.00 feet;thence North 89°55'10"West,10.00 feet;thence North 00°20'03"
(]East, 10.00 feet, to the Southerly right-of-way line ofNelson Road; thence South 89°55,10"East,
10.00 feet, along said right-of-wayline, to the true point ofbeginning, containing 100 square feet
more or less.
