A RESOLUTION INITIATINGTHEPROCEDURE FOR VACATINGRIGHT-OF-WAYDEDICATEDFORTHEDEVELOPMENTOFCLOVERDRIVE
RECITALS:
1.There exists right-of-way dedicated for thedevelopment of CloverDrivewhich is not needed by theCityofMosesLake.
2.RCW 35.79 provides that a public street may be vacated upon resolutioninitiated and passed by thelegislativeauthorityofthejurisdictionwherethestreetissituatedandthatsuchresolutionshallfixatimewhenthepetitionwillbeheardanddeterminedandwhichshallnotbemorethansixtydaysnorlessthantwentydaysafterthepassageofsuchresolution.
RESQLVED:
1.The vacation of the following described publicright-of-way shallbe initiated:
A portion of Clover Drive described as follows,shall be vacated.
A parcel ofland inthe East 1/2,ofSection 26,and theWest 1/2,of Section 25,Township 19 North,Range28EastW.M.,Cityof Moses Lake,Grant County,Washington,described as follows:
Commencing attheEast 1/4 corner of Section 26,Township 19 North,Range 28 East W.M.,thence North00°32'30"East,449.43 feet along the East line of Section 26,to the right-of-way line of State Route 17andthepointofbeginning;thenceSouth38°53'30"East,47.23 feet alongsaid linetotheeasterlyright-of-
way line of Clover Drive;thenceSouth 00°32'30"West,809.03 feet along said line;thenceNorth89°27'30"West,2.00 feet;thencealonga 528.00 footradius non-tangentcurveconcavetothesouthwest,
an are of249.61feet,thechordbeing Noith 13°00'44"West,247.48 feet tothewesterlyright-of-waylineofCloverDrive;thenceNorth00°32'30"East,641.40 feet alongsaid linetotheright-of-wayline of StateRoute17;thenceSouth 38°53'30"East,47.23 feet along said line,tothe Point of Beginning.
Containing41320 square feet more or less.
