A RESOLUTION REGARDINGEMERGENCY MEDICAL AND AMBULANCESERVICEPROVIDEDINANDBYTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE
RECITALS:
1.The Cityof Moses Lake has established an emergency medicaland ambulance service with City ofMosesLakeOrdinanceNo.2026 pursuant to RCW 35.21.766 and 35.21.768.
O 2.AtthetimetheCityCouncil considered and established its emergencymedicalandambulance servicetheCityofMosesLakewasnotservedbyanexistingprivateambulanceserviceandthepreviouslyprovidedpublicambulanceservicewasterminating.
3.The city,in establishing its emergency medical and ambulance service,obtained a license for theoperationofanambulanceservicefromtheWashingtonStateDepartmentofHealthasrequestedby
Grant CountyHospitalDistrict No.1,Samaritan Hospital,consistent with thelicense previously heldbytheHospitalDistrict.
4.The area included in the license to operate an ambulance service issued by theWashington StateDepartmentofhealthisreferencedinCityofMosesLakeOrdinanceNo.2026 and is illustrated on theattachedmaprnarkedExhibitAandincorporatedbyreferenceinthisresolution.
RESOLVED:
1.The city willoperate its emergency medical and ambulance service consistent withthe license issued
by theWashirigton State Department of Health and City of Moses Lake Ordinance No.2026.
2.The city will operate its emergency medical and ambulance service consistent with any agreements
it enters with any public or privateentities pursuant to state law and any local authority.
