A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR MUNICIPAL USEALONGWESTSHOREDRIVEBETWEENHANSENROADANDROAD4NE
Recitals:
1.A 12inch water main and 6 inch force sewer main was installed,lying in dedicated right-
of-way or easements,and connected to the City of Moses Lake's utility system alongWestshoreDrivebetweenHansenRoadandRoad4NE..
2.Said,utility improvements havebeen installed in accordance with theCityof Moses
Lake's Community Standards,such installation beingcompleted in January,2002.
3.RCW 35.91.030 indicates thatpublic street and utility facilities,which are developer
installed,should be accepted by the City of Moses Lake upon completion if the facilities
are built to city standards.
Resolved:
1 The CityCouncilof the City of Moses Lake accepts the utility improvementsas facilities
of the City of Moses Lake and as such will charge for use of such facilities as authorized
by ordinance.
2.After January 22,2003,all further maintenance and operation costs of said utility
improvements,shall be borne by the City of Moses Lake,as provided by city ordinance.
