A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ASSUMPTION OF A GRANT BYTHECITYOFMOSESLAKE,POLICE DEPARTMENT,FROM THEPORTOFMOSESLAKE
RECITALS:
1.The City of Moses Lake has assumed a grant from the Port of Moses Lake.The City willadministertheWashingtonTrafficSafetygrant,in an effort tocontinue the Central BasinTrafficSafetyTaskForceandtheHighway17CorridorProjectCoordinatorsposition.
2.The grant would entail tracking pass through monies from the Traffic Safety Commissiontoanindependentcoordinatorforbothprojects.The police department is a member ofthetaskforce.
RESOLVED:
1.The City of Moses Lake accepts the assumption of this grant from the Port of MosesLake.
2.The City of Moses Lake expresses appreciation to the Washington Traffic SafetyCommission.
