ARESOLUTION ENDORSlNGTHE IMPLEMENTATIONSTRATEGY SET FORTHINPHASEIOFTHEMOSESLAKEDOWNTOWNREVITALIZATIONPLAN
RECITALS:
1.Vision 2020 initiated a process torevitalizeand rehabilitatethe Moses Lake Downtown core.
2.In response to Vision 2020's request,the City engaged Leland Consulting Group and StastnyBrunArchitectstoformulateadowntowncorerevitalizationandrehabilitationplan.
3.Over a period of several months,the City's consultants,Leland Consulting Group and StastnyBrunArchitects,along with the City of Moses Lake and Vision 2020,held several individual and groupmeetingstogatherinformationtobeusedinformulatingadowntowncorerevitalizationandrehabilita-tionplan.
4.The City's consultants,Leland Consulting Group and StastnyBrun Architects,have prepared adowntowncorerevitalizationandrehabilitationplanandhavedevelopedanimplementationstrategy
as set forth in Phase I of therevitalization and rehabilitationplan.
5.This revitalization and rehabilitation plan and implementation strategy have been reviewed by Vision2020andisapprovedandendorsedbyVision2020.
6.The revitalization and rehabilitationplan contains long term and short termgoals and contains ascheduleofnolessthanten(10)projects and/or actions for implementation in2003.
RESOLVED:
1.The Cityof Moses Lake endorses theconcepts endorsed and approvedby Vision 2020 as developedbytheCity's consultants,Leland Consulting Group and StastnyBrun Architects.
2.The Cityof Moses Lake endorses the concepts in the published implementation strategy of thedowntownrevitalizationandrehabilitationplanasdevelopedbyLelandConsultingGroupandStastnyBrunArchitects.
O 3.The Cityendorses,as part of theimplementationstrategydescribed in Phase Iof therev ndrehabilitationplan,the concepts contained in the published ten (1 projects r actions orimplementationin2003.
4.The implementation strategy of the downtown revitalizatio and reh itati pl along with epublishedten(10)projects and/or actions identified for im ementati for are incorporated byreferenceinthisresolution.
