A RESOLUTION ALLOWING O'DELL AND SANDRA CRITTENDEN TO BUILD ON
UNPLATTED PROPERTY
RECITALS:
1.Moses Lake Municipal Code 16.12.030 allows for the issuance of a building permit to a proponent
who wishes to build on unplatted property after a resolution from the City Council.
2.O'Dell and Sandra Crittenden have requested the City Council to allow them to build on unplatted
property described as follows:
A tract of land in the south half of Section 13, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Moses
Lake, Grant County, Washington, more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the south quarter corner of said Section 13, a U.S.B.R. brass cap monument in case
from which point the southwest corner of said Section 13, a U.S.B.R. brass cap monument in case
bears North 89°12' 29" West, 2,670.89 feet;
thence North 89°12'29" West, along the south line of said Section 13, a distance of 771.98 feet to
the southeast corner of the Crittenden Major Plat, per the plat thereof recorded in Book 20 of Plats,
pages 40 and 41, records of said Grant County;
thence North 00°20'01" East, along the east line of said Crittenden Major Plat and said line extended
1,040.00 feet tot he northeast corner of the Lot 1, Crittenden Major Plat, boundary line adjustment,
per the survey thereof filed in Book 41 of Surveys, Page 39;
thence North 89°12'29" West, along the north line of said Lot 1 Boundary Line Adjustment, 450.01
feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 1 Boundary Line Adjustment;
thence North 00°20'04" East, 292.77 feet to the north line of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section
13;
thence South 89°12'46" East, along said north line, 1,221.89 feet to the northeast corner of said
SE1/4 of the SW 1/4;
thence South 89°17'37" East, along the north line of the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 of said section 13, a
distance of 1,326.01 feet to the northeast corner of said SW1/4 of the SW1/4;
thence South 00°26'20" West, along the east line of said SW1/4 of the SE1/4, a distance of 731.22
feet to the northeast corner of the Crittenden Short Plat, per the plat thereof filed in Book 6 of Short
Plats, Pages 68 and 69, Records of said Grant County;
thence the following four courses and distances along the north and west boundary of said
Crittenden Short Plat:
thence North 89°21'51" West, 400.00 feet
thence South 00°26'20" West, 260.00 feet
thence North 89°21'51" West, 600.00 feet
thence South 00°26'20" West, 340.00 feet to the southwest corner of said Crittenden Short
Plat on the south line of said Section 13; thence North 89°21'51" West, along the south line
of said Section 13, a distance of 323.45 feet to the pont of beginning.
RESOLVED:
1. That O'Dell and Sandra Crittenden be allowed to build on unplatted property with the stipulation that
the property be platted prior to a Certificate of Occupancy being issued.
