1970u u u RESOLUTION NO.1970 A RESOLUTION STATING A POLICY WITH REGARD TO MARKING CITY OWNED PASSEN GER MOTOR VEHICLES Recitals: 1. The City of Moses Lake owns several passenger motor vehicles. 2. The City,on average, acquires several passenger motorvehicles per year and on occasion retires several passenger motor vehicles. 3.State law allows passenger motor vehicles to be marked and identified as set forth in RCW 46.08.065(2) with City Council approval by rule or ordinance. 4. Itwould be less costly for the city to mark and identify its passenger motorvehicles in accor dance with RCW 46.08.065(2)rather than marking and identifying its passenger motorvehicles in accordance with RCW 46.08.065(1). Resolved: 1. The City of Moses Lake may mark its passenger motor vehicles in accordance with RCW 46.08.065(2). 2. This authorization shall be effective upon passage of this resolution.
