A RESOLUTION WITH REGARD TO SPONSORING THE MULTI-AGENCY COMMUNICA
TIONS CENTER'S REQUEST TO JOIN THE ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTON CITIES
EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST
Recitals:
1.The City of Moses Lake is a member of the Multi-Agency Communication Center which was
created by an inter-local co-operation agreement as authorized by RCW 39.34.
^-^2.The Multi-Agency Communication Center (MACC)will provide E911 dispatching services for
the City of Moses Lake.These are services that the City of Moses Lake previously provided
with its own staff in the Moses Lake Police Department.
3. The Multi-Agency Communication Center (MACC)would like to participate in the Association of
Washington Cities (AWC) Employee Benefit Trust benefits program as a quasi-municipal entity.
4. Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Employee BenefitTrust requiresthat a city member of
the Association of Washington Cities (AWC)Employee BenefitTrust sponsor a non-city entity's
request beforethe non-city entity can participate inthe Association of Washington Cities
(AWC)Employee Benefit Trust benefit programs.
Resolved:
1. The City of Moses Lake, with this resolution,sponsors the Multi-Agency Communication Center
(MACC)of GrantCounty's request for application to join the Association of Washington Cities
(AWC)Employee Benefit Trust as a non-city entity.
2. The City of Moses Lake requests that the Multi-Agency Communication Center of Grant Coun
ty (MACC)be allowed membership into the Association of Washington Cities (AWC)Employee
Benefit Trust.
