A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT
RECITALS:
1.Elsa Burgett and Safeway Stores,Inc.have requested the Cityof Moses Lakeabandon utility
easements located in the Grant County Mall Plat,legally described as follows:
That portion of the public utility easements as recorded under Auditor's File Numbers
(j 400348,400349,401169,and as shown on the plat of Grant County Mall,as per plat
^^thereof recorded in Volume 10 of Plats,Pages 10 and 11,records of Grant County,
Washington, lying withinthe following described tract:
Beginning at the intersection of the northlineof Parcel 2, said Grant County Mall with
the west line of the east 44.00 feet thereof;thence south 0°22*54"west along said west
line 158.02 feet;thence north 89°57*36"west 215.69 feet;thence north 0°08*20"west
156.85 feet to the north line of said Lot 2;thence north 89°44'00"east along said north
line 217.13 feet to the beginning.
2. The City of Moses Lake presently has utilities installed in these easements.
3. New easements will be granted to the city and the existing utilities will be relocated.
RESOLVED:
1.The City Council of the City of Moses Lake does resolve that the utility easements located in the
above described property will be abandoned and that the City Manager is authorized to execute
the necessary documents in order to accomplish that abandonment.
2.New easements shall be requested from Safeway Stores,Inc. for the relocation of the existing
utilities.
