A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT
RECITALS:
1. Moses Lake Mall has requested the Cityof Moses Lake abandon a utility easement located in
the property legally described as follows:
A 20' wide municipal purposes easement located inTracts 3, 4 and 7 of Park Orchard Tracts in
the Northeast quarter of Section 15, Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,according to the
platthereof filed December 7,1914on Page 36 of the acreage plat book, records ofGrant
County,Washington.Ten feet of said width lying each side ofthe following described line.
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 15;thence south 00°14'49"west, along the
east line of said Section 15, a distance of 1411.85 feet;thence north 89°45'11"west a distance
of 40.00 feet to the westerly right-of-way margin of Stratford Road and the true point of begin
ning;thence continuing north 89°45'11"west a distance of 82.55 feet;thence north 78°06'58"
west a distance of 97.00 feet;thence north 89°45'11"west a distance of 163.44 feet;thence
north 00°14'49"east a distance of 287.58 feet;thence north 49°07'56"west a distance of 127.12
feet;thence north 89°45'11"west a distance of 140.23 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as
"Point A";thence continuing north 89°45'11"west a distance of 517.08 feet;thence south
10°46'29"west a distance of 274.16 feet;thence south 00°14'55"west a distance of 47.03 feet
to the south line of said Tract 7 and the terminus of the line being described.
Together with a 20'wide easement,10 feet of said width lying each side of the following de
scribed line:beginning at the hereinfore mentioned "Point A";thence north 00°14'49"east a
distance of 101.09 feet to the terminus of the line being described.
Except that portion lying within the easement granted to the City of Moses Lake and recorded
under Grant County Auditor's File Number 836894.
Except that portion lying within the easement granted to the Cityof Moses Lakeand recorded
under Grant County Auditor's File Number 848671.
2. A new easement has been granted to the city.
RESOLVED:
1. The City Council ofthe City of Moses Lake does resolve that the utility easement located in the
above described property will be abandoned and that the City Manageris authorized to execute
the necessary documents in order to accomplish that abandonment.
