RESOLUTION NO.1683
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT
Recitals:
1.Veterans of Foreign Wars has requested the City of Moses Lake abandon a
portion of a street and utility easement located in the property legally
described as follows:
A portion of an easement as shown on the V.F.W.Short Plat located in the
S.E.1/4 of Section 28,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,as
recorded in Book 3,Page 49,records of Grant County,Washington being
more fully described as follows:
Commencing at the monument located at the intersection of Basin Street and
South Burress Avenue;thence North 45°31'25"West a distance of 30.00
feet;thence South 44°28'35"West a distance of 30.00 feet to the most
northerly corner of said V.F.W.Short Plat;thence South 44°28'35"West
along the common boundary of the V.F.W.Short Plat and the Club Addition
a distance of 25.00 feet to the true point of beginning;thence continuing
South 44°28'35"West a distance of 35.68 feet;thence South 23°29*58"
East a distance of 32.36 feet;thence North 44°28'35"East a distance of
15.00 feet;thence North 02°02'37"East a distance of 44.46 feet to the
point of beginning.
Resolved:
1.The City Council of the City of Moses Lake does resolve that the utility
easement located in the above described property will be abandoned and
that the City Manger is authorized to execute the necessary documents in
order to accomplish that abandonment.
