RESOLUTION NO.1838
A RESOLUTION INITIATING THE PROCEDURE FOR VACATING RIGHT-OF-WAY
DEDICATED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PORTION OF YONEZAWA BOULE
VARD
RECITALS:
1. The owners of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon the forty foot public right-of-way
dedicated as a partof the New High School Plat.
2.RCW 35.79 provides thata public streetmay be vacated upon resolution initiated and passed by the
legislative authority ofthe jurisdiction wherethe streetis situated andthatsuch resolution shall fix atime
whenthe petition will be heard and determined and which shall not be morethan sixtydays norless
than twenty days afterthe passage of such resolution.
RESOLVED:
1. The petition for the vacationof the following described public right-of-way shall be accepted:
A 40'strip of land lying inthe NEK of Section 26,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,W.M.,Grant
County, Washington,described as follows:
The southerly 40 feet of the New High School Plat filed under GrantCounty Auditor's Number
354614.
2. The first reading of a vacation ordinance shall be set for August 9,1994;that a public hearing before
the Planning Commission shall be set for July 14, 1994; and that a second reading of a vacation
ordinance shall be set for August 23,1994.
