A RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING THE DECLARATION SETTING FORTH MISS MOSES
LAKE AS THE OFFICIAL HOSTESS FOR THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON
Recitals:
1. The City Council of the City of Moses Lake, in Resolution No. 1313 passed on April 14, 1987,
declared the winner of the Miss Moses Lake Scholarship Pageant as official hostess of the City
of Moses Lake and further declared that all future reigning Miss Moses Lakes would preside as
the city's official hostess during their reign.
2. Beginning on June 1, 1995, the Miss Moses Lake Scholarship Pageant will no longer be
associated with the Miss America Pageant.
3.There is no Miss Moses Lake Scholarship Pageant currently scheduled in 1995.
4.There will be no winner of the Miss Moses Lake Scholarship Pageant declared in 1995.
Resolved:
1.Because of a change in circumstances,as of June 1,1995 the terms of Resolution No.1313
will no longer have any force or effect.
2.Because of a change in circumstances there will be no official hostess for the City of Moses
Lake beginning June 1,1995.
