RESOLUTION NO.1916
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR ACTIVITIES WHICH RECOGNIZE YOUNG
PEOPLE OF THE CITY
Recitals:
1.There are activities conducted within the City of Moses Lake which are designed to recognize
young people of this community for their various talents and positive achievements.This
recognition comes through competitions and recognitions conducted by booster groups,the
schools,and various community groups.
2.The City Council wishes to recognize the positive accomplishments of the youth of our com
munity. To that end,the City Council will designate those youth of the community who have
earned such awards by performance or competition as youth ambassadors of the City of
Moses Lake.
Resolved:
1. Endeavoring to recognize the positive achievements of all the young adults of the community,
the City Council has reason to believe the Moses Lake Junior Miss program will reflect the
positive attributes and accomplishments of the young people who are contestants.
2.The City Council of the City of Moses Lake recognizes the winner of the Moses Lake Junior
Miss program as one of the youth ambassadors of the city.
3. In accepting this recognition, the winner agrees to strive to reflect only the best of the young
adults of this community to the rest of the world.
