A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE
TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE FROM CARNATION COMPANY
WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate
or any interest therein to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be
accepted until a Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by
the City Council,and
WHEREAS,Carnation Company has presented a Quit Claim Deed conveying prop
erty to the City of Moses Lake,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Quit Claim Deed dated April 8,
1983 for the following described property is hereby accepted by the
City of Moses Lake:
A parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 16,Township 19 North,Range 29 East,Willamette "Meridian
Grant County Washington,described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest Corner of Section 16,Township 19
North,Range 29 East,Willamette Meridian,which point is also
the Southwest corner of Farm Unit 81,Second Revision of Irrigation
Block 41,Columbia Basin Project,as per plat filed September 29,
1953,Records of Grant County,Washington,thence South 89 06*27"East
30.00 feet;thence North 00 53'30"East,40.00 feet to the Nogth
Right of Way line of Wheeler Road;thencercontinuing North 00
53'30"East,30.00 feet to the point of beginning;thence North
00°53'30"East,150.00 feet;thence South 89o06'27"East 150.00
feet;thence South 00 53'30"West;150.00 feet;thence North
89 06'27"West,150.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Subject to the following conditions:
1.The City of Moses Lake agrees to transfer title to this property
to the Carnation Company if the City ceases use of this property
for three consecutive years.
2.The City of Moses Lake agrees to pay all title and recording
transfer fees.
3.The City of Moses Lake agrees not to develop or drill a well on
this parcel.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,on this
10th day of May,1983.
