A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT
RECITALS:
1.George Humphrey has requested the City of Moses Lake abandon a portion of
an easement located in Lots 11 and 3 of the Humphrey Addition.
2.The request is to abandon that portion of a 20'easement lying to the
southwest of the southwest boundary line of the city sanitary sewer and
storm sewer easement parallelling the northeast property lines of Lots 11
and 3 of the Humphrey Addition.
3.The easement as described above was conveyed to the City of Moses Lake as
per the Humphrey Addition Plot Plat recorded on March 26,1959 in Volume
7 of Plats,page 71,recorded in Grant County,Washington.
4.Neither the City of Moses Lake nor any utility company presently have any
utilities installed in the easement and have no present or future plans
to install utilities in the easement.
RESOLVED:
The City Council of the City of Moses Lake do resolve that the portion of the
20'dedicated easement lying to the southwest of the southwest boundary line
of the city sanitary sewer and storm sewer easement parallelling the northeast
property lines of Lots 11 and 3 of the Humphrey Addition will be abandoned and
that the City Manager is authorized to execute the necesary documents in order
to accomplish that abandonment.
