1203u RECITALS: RESOLUTION NO.1203 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT 1.Richard A.Taitch has requested the City of Moses Lake abandon a portion of a utility easement located at 2156 South Beaumont Drive, Moses Lake,Washington. 2.The specific request is to abandon the easterly ten feet of the dedicated twenty foot utility easement along the westerly lot line of Lot 40 in Montlake Addition No. 2. 3.The easement was dedicated as a public easement in the platting of Montlake Addition No.2 with the signing of the dedication on September 30,1955,and the recording of the plat on May 2,1956. 4.The City of Moses Lake does not presently have any utilities installed in that portion of the easement and has no present plans to so install utilities in the easement. 5.The Grant County PUD has consented also to abandon its interest in the easement. RESOLVED: The City Council of the City of Moses Lake does resolve that the easter ly ten feet of the dedicated twenty foot utility easement along the westerly lot line of Lot 40 in Montlake Addition No.2 will be abandoned and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the necessary docu ments in order to accomplish that abandonment.
