1230RESOLUTION NO.1230 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT RECITALS: 1.The WEBKO Partnership has requested the City of Moses Lake abandon a por tion of an easement located in Lots 16 and 17 of Lakeview Terrace Addi tion No. 1. 2.The request is to abandon that portion of a 20'easement lying to the southeast of the right-of-way of Pioneer Way extending through Lot 17 and a portion of Lot 16 of Lakeview Terrace Addition #1 and terminating at the northwest lot line of Tax #5112. 3.The easement as described was conveyed to the city March 24,1948 by Ed ward and Gladys Hull as recorded in Volume 79,Page 186,Records of Grant County,Washington. 4.A 6"city water overflow line serving city Reservoir #1 lies within the easement.The WEBKO Partnership has agreed to provide additional ease ments as required by the city and to relocate the existing water line at the Partnership's expense.No other utilities are located within the easement.Neither the city nor any other utility company have future plans to install utilities in the easement. RESOLVED: 1.The City Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington do resolve that the portion of the 20'dedicated easement lying to the southeast of the right-of-way of Pioneer Way extending through Lot 17 and a portion of Lot 16 of Lakeview Terrace Addition #1 and terminating at the northwest lot line of Tax #5112 will be abandoned and that the City Manager is au thorized to execute the necessary documents in order to accomplish that abandonment.
