A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE IN EXCHANGE FOR
THE CITY RELINQUISHING AN EASEMENT TEN FEET WIDE CENTERED OVER OLD
DISCONNECTED EIGHT INCH SEWER LINE.
RECITALS:
1.Resolution No.128 provides that all grants of real estate or interest
therein,to the City of Moses Lake,not be accepted until a resolution
has been duly passed by the City Council.
2.Tommer Construction Company,Inc.has presented an easement to the City
of Moses Lake.
3.Tommer Construction has relocated an existing 8"sewer line into the new
easement provided with this resolution.
4.The City has prepared a description of the easement over the old
disconnected line.
RESOLVED:
1.The easement for ingress and egress to construct and maintain a sanitary
sewer line over,under,and across a 10'wide easement of the following
described property is hereby accepted by the City of Moses Lake from
Tommer Construction Company,Inc.
That portion of Lot 41,Terminal Park Addition No.2
described as follows:The Easterly ten (10)feet of
the Westerly twenty-four (24)feet,together with the
Northerly ten (10)feet of the Westerly seventy (70)
feet less the Westerly fourteen (14)feet thereof.
2.The easement recorded on Lot 41,Terminal Park #2 for a sewer pipe
installed by the U.S.Government in 1944 is hereby abandoned and is
described as follows:
An easement ten (10)feet wide as recorded on Lot 41,
Terminal Park Addition #2 in Section 22,Township 19
North,Range 28 East,Willamette Meridian,Grant
County,Washington between the North lot line and the
South lot line.This easement was recorded by diagram
only on this subdivision as "Existing Pressure Sewer
Line Easement".
Adopted by the City Council on April 8,1986.
