1278RESOLUTION NO.1278 A RESOLUTION ALLOWING SCRIPPS-HAGADONE REALTY,INC.,COLUMBIA BASIN DAILY HERALD NEWSPAPER,TO BUILD ON UNPLATTED PROPERTY. RECITALS: 1.Moses Lake Municipal Code 16.12.030 allows for the issuance of a building permit to a proponent who wishes to build on unplatted property after a resolution from the City Council. 2.The Columbia Basin Daily Herald has requested the City Council allow it to build on unplatted property,owned by Scripp-Hagadone Realty,Inc.; described as follows and illustrated on the map on file with the City Clerk: Parcel 1: A portion of Government Lot 7,Section 22,Township 19 North,Range 28 EWM,described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the Northwesterly boundary line and the Southwesterly boundary line of Block 41,Neppel (now Moses Lake),Grant County,Washington,according to the plat thereof filed October 15,1912; running thence South 53°40,54"West along the Southeasterly boundary line of Broadway,a street in Neppel,extended a distance of 1460 feet;thence South 36o19'06n East along the Northeasterly boundary of Holly Street in Moses Lake,a distance of 340 feet to a point on the center!ine of Third Avenue (a street in Moses Lake),said point being North 53°42,16n East along the centerline of said Third Avenue 30.00 feet from the intersec tion of the centerlines of Third Avenue and and Holly Street;thence con tinuing South 36°19'06n East 40.00 feet to the intersection of the North easterly boundary line of Holly Street with the Southeasterly boundary line of Third Avenue;thence North 53°42'16"East along the Southeasterly boundary line of Third Avenue 250.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing North 53042'16"East 50.20 feet,more or less,to the Southwesterly boundary line of Gumwood Street (a street in Moses Lake); thence South 36°20'10"East along said Southeasterly boundary line 140 feet,more or less,to the Northwesterly boundary of a deeded alley; thence South 53°42*16"West along said Northwesterly boundary 50.25 feet, more or less,to a point distant 250.00 feet from the Northeasterly boundary line of said Holly Street;thence North 36°19'06"West 140 feet, more or less,to the true point of beginning. IT IS RESOLVED: 1.That the Scripps-Hagadone Realty,Inc.,(Columbia Basin Daily Herald)be allowed to build on unplatted property with the stipulation that prelimi nary plat approval be acquired prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit.
