1294RESOLUTION NO.1294 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE CLOVER DRIVE FROM EVERGREEN TO NELSON ROAD BY GRADING,GRAVELING,CONSTRUCTING AND INSTALLING CURB,CONCRETE SIDEWALKS ON ONE SIDE,WATER SERVICES,ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND STORM DRAINAGE AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS AGAINST PROPERTY IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITTED THEREBY,AND TO NOTIFY ALL PERSONS WHO MAY OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON MARCH 10,1987 AT 8:00 P.M. RECITALS: 1.The Moses Lake City Council has accepted petitions from the majority of the property owners with property adjacent to the proposed Local Improvement District on Clover Drive. RESOLVED: 1.That it is the intent of the City Council of the City of Moses Lake to order the improvement of the unpaved portion of Clover Drive by grading, constructing,and installing curbs and sidewalk on one side,water services,asphalt concrete pavement and storm drainage.All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore prepared under the direction of the City of Moses Lake. 2.That the entire cost and expense of said improvement shall be 50%City of Moses Lake Street Improvement Funds and 50%shall be borne and assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be established embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited by such improvement. 3.That all persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council in the Police/Court Building,Moses Lake, Washington,at 8:00 p.m.on March 10,1987,which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement,and all objections thereto,and for determining the method of payment of said improvement. 4.The Municpial Services Director of the City of Moses Lake is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to March 10,1987 all data and information required by law to be submitted.
