1303RESOLUTION NO.1303 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN ASSIGNMENT OF AN EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE FROM HOWARD J.AND ELIZABETH E.COCHRAN,RICHARD L.AND SHIMAKO BUCK, AND CHARLES E.WARD RECITALS: 1.Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate,or any interest therein,to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be accepted until a resolution has been duly passed by the City Council. 2.Allen C.and Donna Boughter granted an easement to Howard J.and Elizabeth E.Cochran,Richard L.and Shimako Buck,and Charles E.Ward for installing a private sewer pressure main from the Highway 17 right of way to a manhole on Carswell Drive through said easement. 3.The City of Moses Lake has agreed to accept the responsibility for maintaining the pressure sewer main within the said easement. 4.Howard J.and Elizabeth E.Cochran,Richard L.and Shimako Buck,and Charles E.Ward have assigned said easement,recorded with the Grant County Auditor under File No.794909,to the City of Moses Lake. RESOLVED: 1.The easement is hereby accepted by the City of Moses Lake and is described as follows: A small portion of Lot 218,Larson Subdivision,located in the Southeast quarter of Section 5,Township 19 North,Range 28 East,Willamette Meridian. The easement description of the work and easement area in the original easement was described as follows: The line will be kept as close to the southerly fence and property line as digging equipment will permit,and run parallel to the southerly lot line a distance of approximately 100 feet from the southwest*lot corner; thence direct to the existing sewer manhole,on the east side of Carswell Drive. *The southwest lot corner is the most southerly corner of said Lot #218.
