RESOLUTION NO.1317
A RESOLUTION DECLARING CITY OWNED PROPERTY AS SURPLUS
AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE AND AUTHORIZING SALE AT PUBLIC
AUCTION OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY IN THE POSSESSION OF THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
1.The City of Moses Lake,Washington owns certain personal property,a list
of which is on file with the City Clerk.
2.The property is not needed by the city for the proper and efficient
functioning of the city.
3.The various city departments will have an opportunity to reclaim any
items declared surplus to be used in that department.
4.The Police Department of the City of Moses Lake possesses certain lost or
unclaimed property,a list of which is on file with the City Clerk.
5.The unclaimed property in the possession of the Police Department can be
disposed of at a public auction as authorized by RCW 63.32.
6.A public auction conducted by all government agencies in the area is
being held at the Grant County Fairgrounds on May 16,1987.
RESOLVED:
1.The City Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington declares that the
personal property owned by the City of Moses Lake is surplus and should
be sold at public auction at the Grant County Fairgrounds on May 16,
1987.
2.Further,that the unclaimed property in the possession of the Police De
partment of the City of Moses Lake shall be sold at public auction as
authorized by RCW 63.32.
