A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
FROM NEW ENGLAND MUTUAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY
(BURGER KING)
RECITALS:
1.Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate,or any interest
therein,to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be accepted until a
resolution has been duly passed by the City Council.
2.New England Mutual Life Insurance Company has presented an easement to the
City of Moses Lake for the purpose of constructing,maintaining and
operating traffic actuated loops,traffic signals,and appurtenant
facilities.
RESOLVED:
1.The easement for the following described property is hereby accepted by the
City of Moses Lake:
That portion of Lot V Columbia Basin Center Addition to
used to control pedestrian and vehicle traffic,ingress
Penn Plaza Shopping Mall and described as follows:
Moses Lake,being
and egress to the
Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of Section 14,Township 19 North,Range
28 East,Willamette Meridian,Thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 15 seconds
East a distance of 40 feet to the East right of way of Stratford Road;
Thence South 0 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 15 feet to
the Southwest corner of said Lot V and the point of beginning;Thence South
89 degrees 58 minutes 15 seconds East a distance of 10 feet;Thence
northerly and parallel to the West property line of said Lot V a distance
of 30 feet.Thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 15 seconds East a distance
of 30 feet;Thence North 0 degrees 14 minutes 10 seconds East a distance of
50 feet;Thence North 89 degrees,58 minutes 15 seconds West a distance of
30 feet;Thence North 0 degrees 14 minutes 10 seconds East a distance of 15
feet;Thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 15 seconds West a distance of 10
feet to the East right of way of Stratford Road.Thence Southerly 95 feet
along said East right of way line to the Southwest corner of Lot V which is
the point of beginning.
