A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE LARSON PLAT,LARSON PLAT
NO.2,REPLAT OF BLOCK 2 LARSON PLAT NO.2,SW 1/4 SW 1/4
SW 1/4 OF SECTION 10 TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH RANGE 28 EWM,AND
TRACT 42 PARK ORCHARD TRACTS BY CONSTRUCTING AND INSTALLING
A SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM AND CONNECTING TO EXISTING SANITARY
SEWER AT EDGEWATER LANE AND TO CREATE A UTILITY LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID
IMPROVEMENTS AGAINST PROPERTY IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY
BENEFITED THEREBY,AND TO NOTIFY ALL PERSONS WHO MAY OBJECT
TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS
AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON
SEPTEMBER 27,1988 AT 8 P.M.
1.The Moses Lake City Council has accepted petitions from the majority of
the property owners with property adjacent to the proposed Utility Local
Improvement District.Copies of the petitions are filed with the city's
Finance Director.
RESOLVED:
1.That it is the intent of the City Council of the City of Moses Lake to
order the improvement of Larson Plat,Larson Plat No.2,Replat of Block
2 Larson Plat No.2,SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 10,Township 19 North,
Range 28 EWM,and Tract 42 Park Orchard Tracts by constructing and in
stalling sanitary sewer,pump station,force main,and sewer side
laterals.
2.That the entire cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne and
assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to
be included in the local improvement district to be established embracing
as near as may be all property specially benefited by such improvement.
3.That all persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein men
tioned are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a
meeting of the City Council in the Police/Court Building,Moses Lake,
Washington at 8 p.m.on September 27,1988,which time and place are
hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improve
ment,and all objections thereto,and for determining the method of pay
ment of said improvement.
6.The Municipal Services Director of the City of Moses Lake is hereby di
rected to submit to the City Council on or prior to September 27,1988
all data and information required by law to be submitted.
