RESOLUTION NO.1438
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING PARTICIPATION IN THE "TOGETHER!
COMMUNITIES FOR DRUG FREE YOUTH"PROJECT
1.Moses Lake School District No.161 and the City of Moses Lake have been
jointly invited to participate in TOGETHER!Communities for Drug Free
Youth.
2.TOGETHER!Communities for Drug Free Youth is being sponsored by the
University of Washington in conjunction with Washington State University.
3.The City of Moses Lake and the Moses Lake School District desire to
undertake a jointly planned campaign to prevent abuse and dependency on
chemical substances and drugs.
4.The School of Social Work at the University of Washington will provide
training for a planning team comprised of Moses Lake citizens to develop
the campaign.
RESOLVED:
1.The City Council endorses participation in the TOGETHER!Communities for
Drug Free Youth project.
Adopted by the City Council on January 24,1989.
