A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOSES LAKE AGREEING TO CONSTRUCT WATER AND SEWER
FACILITIES FOR THE WHEELER INDUSTRIAL AREA

Resolved:
1.
KEMA NORD,INC.,and INLAND TERMINAL COMPANY,propose
to develop properties recently purchased in the Wheeler
Industrial area.
KEMA NORD, INC., and INLAND TERMINAL COMPANY, desire to
connect the water and sanitary sewer mains within their
proposed developments to the City of Moses Lake's water
and sewer facilities.
The City of Moses Lake has the capacity to treat
sanitary sewer and some process waters that would be
generated by their developments.
The Economic Development Administration has approved a
Preliminary Application to assist Kema Nord, Inc.,
Inland Terminal Company,and the City of Moses Lake, in
construction of facilities to serve this area with city
water and sewer facilities.
The City of Moses Lake will serve as applicant to
pursue 50%funding from the Economic Development
Administration.
Kema Nord, Inc.,and Inland Terminal Company,have
agreed they will pay their share of water and sewer
facilities constructed to benefit their facilities.
The City of Moses Lake will purchase necessary water
source and will pay facility development costs.
The City Council authorizes the city staff to proceed
with an application to the Economical Development
Administration for this project to enhance the growth
of the area's economic base.
