RESOLUTION NO.545
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF
PROPERTY LOCATED ON SR-90,DODSON ROAD INTER
CHANGE TO MAE VALLEY INTERCHANGE
WHEREAS,the City of Moses Lake is the record owner of an easement
described as follows:
A portion of land in the SE*of the SW*of Sec.30,
T 19 N,R 28 E.W.M.,30 feet either side of the
following described center line,in Grant County,
Washington.
Beginning at the S|corner of said Sec.30;thence
N 88°58,40"W 633.50 feet to the point of beginning;
thence N 09O12'20"E 152 feet;thence N 28°10'40M
W 199.50 feet; thence N 87O38'40"W 241.6 feet;
thence N 30 SO^O"W 205 feet to the R/W of the
Washington State Highway.
WHEREAS,in the improvement of SR-90,Dodson Road Interchange to
Mae Valley Interchange by the State of Washington,Department of Highways,
it is necessary and advisable for the State of Washington to acquire title to a
strip of land 80 feet wide over,across and upon said lands for a right of way
for said highway,and
WHEREAS,after due consideration by the Council of the City of Moses
Lake,it appears to said Council that it will be in the best interest of both the
City of Moses Lake and the State of Washington that said Council convey a por
tion of said easement to the State of Washington for a consideration of benefits
to be hereinafter derived,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Moses
Lake,that the City Manager and City Clerk be authorized to execute a Quit
Claim Deed to the State of Washington for above described real estate situated
in the County of Grant,State of Washington,for a consideration of benefits to
be hereinafter derived.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 14th day of
December,1971.
