A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL
ESTATE TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,
FOR STREET AND UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS,Resolution 238 provides that all grants of real estate or any w
interest therein to the City of Moses Lake shall not be accepted until
a resolution of acceptance has been duly passed by the City.Council and
WHEREAS Richard D.and Mary Lou Penhallurick have presented a Quit Claim
Deed for street and utility purposes over,under and across the following
described tracts of land situated in the County of Grant,State of Wash
ington,
A portion of Tax Number 5401 along the Northwesterly boundary
of State Sign Route 171,formerly known as Grant County Road
#821,described as follows:
Commencing at the monument marking the intersection of the
center line of State Sign Route 171,with the East-West center
line of Section 14,Township 19 North,Range 28 E.W.M.Grant
County,Washington;Thence North 53°40,54M East along center
line of said State Sign Route 171 a distance of 268.13 feet
more or less;Thence North 36°19,06"West a distance of 20.00
feet tothe true point of beginning;Thence North 53°40,54"
East a distance of 36.10 feet to the point of intersection on
a line bearing North 39°57'36 East;Thence a distance of 225.02 feet
more or less, to a point on the Southerly Right of.Way line
of Washington State Highway Sign Route 17;Thence North 67o27'30"
West a distance of 31.44 feet;Thence South 39°57'36"West a
distance of 167.48 feet;Thence on a 350-foot radius curve to
the right (the chord of which bears South 46°49l15"West)an
arc distance of 71.86 feet;Thence a distance of 30.00 feet,
more or less,to the true point of beginning.
The above described area containing 0.17 acres.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:that the Quit Claim Deed dated December 15,1971
for the following described property is hereby accepted by the City of
Moses Lake.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 11th day of
April,1972.
