A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE
OF REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY OF MOSES
LAKE FROM RILA M.JONES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 238 provides that ail grants of real es
tate or any interest therein to the City of Moses Lake,shall not
be accepted until a Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed
by the City Council, and
WHEREAS,Rila M.Jones,has presented a Quit-Claim Deed conveying
property to the City of Moses Lake,
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Quit-Claim Deed dated
March 31, 1972, for the following described property is hereby
accepted by the City of Moses Lake:
A portion of land for public right of way
out of Tract No. 17,Tax No.1615,Battery
Orchrrd Tracts described as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of ' • •
Tract No. 18,Battery Orchard Tracts;
Thence 60.00 feet North 57°51'16"West;
Thence 645.65 feet North 32°08'44"East
to the true point of beginning;Thence
214 feet more or less.North 32°08'44"
East to the Southerly right of way line.
for the Chicago,Milwaukee,St.Paul and
Pacific Railroad.Beginning at the true
point of beginning;thence 10.00 feet
South 57°51'16"East, thence 218 feet
more or less.North 32°08'44"East to the
Southerly right of way line for the Chicago,
Milwaukee,St.Paul,and Pacific Railroad.
Said 10'strip of land lying 20.00 feet
Northwest from center line of Peninsula
Drive.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this
day of April,1972.
