\A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES
LAKE DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE THE AREA ON
PHEASANT STREET ADJACENT TO LOTS 3, 4, 7, 8, 10,11,
12,AND 14 THROUGH 21 OF JONES ADDITION BY GRADING,
GRAVELING,CONSTRUCTING AND INSTALLING CURBS,SIDE
WALKS,STORM DRAINAGE,AND ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT
AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS
THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS AGAINST
PROPERTIES IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY,
AND NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVE
MENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A REGULAR
MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 12,1976.
^BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,
^5 AS FOLLOWS:
p*.Section 1.That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
£jj Moses Lake to order the improvement of area on Pheasant Street between
Peninsula Drive and Locust Lane adjacent to Lots 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11,12,
and 14 through 21 of Jones Addition by grading, graveling, constructing
and installing curbs, sidewalks, storm drainage, and asphalt concrete
pavement.All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans
and specifications therefore prepared under the direction of the Public
Works Director of the City of Moses Lake.
Section 2. That the entire cost and expense of said improvement shall
be borne and assessed against the property specially benefited by such
v—»improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be es
tablished embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited
by such improvement.
Section 3. That all persons who may desire to object to the improve
ment herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such
objections at a meeting of the City Council in the City Hall,Moses
Lake,Washington at 8:00 p.m. on October 12, 1976,which time and place
are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed
improvement,and all objections thereto, and for determining the method
of payment of said improvement.
Section 4. The Public Works Director of the City of Moses Lake is here
by directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to the 12th day of
October,1976, all data and information required by law to be submitted.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 14th day of
September,1976.
