858RESOLUTION NO.858 A RESOLUTION CANCELLING CERTAIN WARRANTS OUTSTANDING FOR MORE THAN ONE YEAR. WHEREAS,RCW 29.56.040 provides that warrants not presented for redemption within one year of their issue shall be cancelled by passage of a resolution of the governing body of the municipal corporation,and WHEREAS,said law further provides that,upon notice of the passage of such resolution the auditor and treasurer shall transfer all records of such warrants so as to leave the funds as if such warrants had never been drawn,and WHEREAS, the following warrants were outstanding in excess of one year as of December 31,1977: NO.DATE PAYEE AMOUNT FUND 2926 1972 Weaver $6.60 Claims 4132 1973 Bonthius 3.60 Claims 440 1974 Goodyear 42.19 Claims 1835 1974 Fast Foto 92.98 Claims 2307 1975 Am.Inst.of CPA's 35.00 Claims 614 1976 Kwicky Korner 22.00 Claims $202.37 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the above warrants be cancelled as of December 31,1977;and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director and Treasurer transfer such amounts so as to leave such funds as if such warrants had never been drawn.
