920RESOLUTION NO.920 A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH AN ACCOUNT WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND TO BE ENTITLED "PETTY CASH FUND - POLICE DEPARTMENT" WHEREAS,the Police Department routinely accepts payments for dog licenses,impound fees,and board fees,and WHEREAS,it is necessary for employees to make change for citizens making such payments,and WHEREAS,the move of the Police Department to the new location at 401 S.Balsam necessitates the establishment of a change account,and WHEREAS,provision of RCW 42.26.060 allows for the establishment of a cash change fund to be used in the transaction of the agency's official business, ,THEREFORE,be it resolved that an account be established within the General Fund of the City of Moses Lake to be known as the "Petty Cash Chanqe Fund -Police Department",and that a maximum of $20 be recorded into the account to be used only for the purpose of making change. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,and APPROVFD by its Mayor this 27th day of February,1979. ATTEST: Mayor
