55"? ^J ^J RESOLUTION TO.55 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,FIXING TliE SPEED LIMIT ON U.S.HIGHWAY NO.10 FROM THE OLD CORPORATE LIMITS OF TliE CITY OF MOSES LAKE BOUND WESTERLY AND EASTERLY ON U.S.HIGHWAY NO.10, AND REQUESTING THE WASHINGTON STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO POST THE SAME. WHEREAS, the City of Moses Lake and through the City Coun cil,on the 28th day of March 1950,extended the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake,and WHEREAS, at 11:30 A.M. on the 30th day of March, 1950, a copy of said map and/or plat extending the corporate limits of £he City of Moses Lake was filed at the Auditor1s Office of Grant County, Washington,at the Courthouse at Ephrata,Washington. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS: That the maximum speed limit for motor vehicles from the intersection of 7th Street and U.S.Highway No. 10,easterly to the new city limits will be and is hereby designated as 35 miles per hour maximum speed limit. That the maximum speed limit for motor vehicles from &:,o point 600 feet westerly along U.S.Highway No. 10,from the inter section of Central Street and Broadway Avenue,westerly to the new city limits,will be and is hereby designated as 35 miles per hour maximum speed limit. That the City of Moses Lake respectfully requests the Washington State Highway Department to transfer the city limits signs both on the westerly and easterly side of the city from the old corporate limits to the new corporate limits,and that the Washington State Highway Department post the speed limit from the easterly corporate limits to the intersection of 7th Street and U.S. Highway No.10,as a 35 miles per houy maximum zone;and from the westerly corporate limits of Moses Lake on U.S.Highway No. 10 to a point 600 feet west of the intersection of Central Street and - 1 - ^^) and Broadway Avenue as a 35 miles per hour maximum zone.
